Today’s bird highlights:

1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Great-spotted Woodpecker, 2 Willow Warbler, 1 Wheatear, 1 Redstart. There were also Hirundines moving, in a 5-minute period  I counted 25 Swallow and 23 House Martins.

Today’s moths:

3 Square-spot Rustic, 14 Archer’s Dart, 34 Beet Moth, 12 Flounced Rustic, 10 Large Yellow Underwing, 1 Small Mottled Willow, 3 Chevron Grass-moth, 1 Dewick’s Plusia, 1 Pale Eggar.
