Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

We had a busy day fencing off a sandy desert that had formed in the middle of our car park, as well as packaging up membership cards for new and renewing members.

Our bird highlights for today are: 86 Redshank, 13 Lapwing and 10 Dublin and 1 Greenschank on Broadwater. 1 Green and 1 Great-spotted Woodpecker and 1 Sparrowhawk at the Obs.

Today’s moths were: 13 Archer’s Dart, 3 Beet Moth, 1 Bryotropha terrella, 1 Catoptria falsella, 1 Cochylichroa atricapitana, 1 Common Wainscot, 1 Diamond-backed Moth, 12 Flounced Rustic, 2 Lesser Broad-bordered Underwing, 2 Lime Speck Pug, 1 Platytes alpinella, 1 Rosy Rustic, 1 Rusty-dot Pearl, 4 Setacheous Hebrew Character, 1 Shaded Broad-bar, 1 Sharp-angeled Peacock, 3 Small Mottled Willow, 2 Straw Underwing, 12 Turnip Moth, 1 Vine’s Rustic, 1 Yellow Tail
