After the windy day yesterday it was very nice to have some calm weather with sunny spells.

Todays Moths were: 2 Mottled Rustic, 1 Cnepharia sp. 2 Sand Dart, 1 Dog’s Tooth, 1 Ephisia sp., 1 Garden Grass Veneer, 1 Sharp-angled Peacock, 1 Piniphilia bifasciana, 1 Bryotropha sp. 1 Cinnabar.

There was also a beetle in the trap which was most likely a Rust Pine Borer.

The bird highlights were 6 Crossbill at the NOA, some of them came down to the pond and fed on the short grass around it, furthermore 1 Fulmar flew over the pines in westerly direction.
