Today’s moths: 1 Chrysoteuchia culmella, 1 Isotrias rectifasciana, 5 Ramshorn Bagworm (Luffia lappidella) with larva, 2 Cinnabar, 1 Blastobasis lacticolella, 1 Small Mottled Willow (Spodoptera exigua, also called Beet Armyworm), Striped Wainscot, 1 Hook-streak Grass-veneer (Crambus lathoniellus), 1 Sand Dart, 4 Mottled Rustic, 4 Large Yellow Underwing, 1 White Ermine, 1 Brown Rustic, 1 Vine’s Rustic, 1 Acompsia cinerella
The Small Mottled Rustic is interesting as it is an immigrant.
On the bird front it’s quiet with 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Sandwich Tern (flying over the Obs), 3 Blackcap,4 Spoonbill and 3 Buzzard the best sightings.
