Puss Moth
The third hot day in a row with 31°C measured by our weather station at 10:49. Most birds were probably hiding in the shade with the only noteworthy sightings being: Cuckoo flying over the NOA car park at 7am, 3 Spoonbill on Broadwater, and the Tawny Owl calling.
The moth trap contained 1 Great Prominent, 1 Puss Moth, 3 Sand Dart, 1 Bordered White, 3 Treble Lines, 8 Common Wainscot, 5 Heart and Dart, 2 Shuttle-shaped Dart, 1 Setaceous Hebrew Character, 2 Lage Yellow Underwing, 8 Turnip, 2 Cinnabar, 1 Flame Shoulder and 1 Marbled sp.. The micro moths were 2 Teleiopsis diffinis, 1 Cydia conicolana, 1 Crampus lathoniellus.

The Broad Bodied Chaser, Large Red and Common Blue Damselfly were seen around the pond and Common Green Grasshopper were singing in the grass next to the car park.
