juvenile Robin
This morning was bitterly cold with the wind blowing 21mph from the north and squalls of rain lashing down. It seemed that all birds hunkering down, and the only noteworthy bird was a Spoonbill right outside the NOA Broadwater hide at the car park. Otherwise, I spotted the first fledged Robin catching a bug.
The moth trap was a bit soggy and contained 1 Shuttle Shaped Dart, 1 Treble Lines and 1 Muslin.
I found an interesting blob of yellow balls on the Flag Iris and identified the tiny creatures as Garden Cross Spider hatchlings.
