Wigeon
A pretty misty and chilly start this morning, with a brisk cold wind! Similar to yesterday in being quite quiet for birds in the recording area. There were Sanderling, Dunlin, Oystercatcher, Bar-tailed Godwit, Ringed Plover and Grey Plover all feeding on the mud at low tide. There was a Chiffchaff around the Obs in the early afternoon, but unfortunately I only had brief views. Well worth keeping an eye out for Sibe Chiffchaffs! There was a large flock of Wigeon (c180 birds) feeding in the flooded field towards Thornham with a single Curlew.
