NOA has now contacted all its members either by email or letter to explain extra security measures for access to Holme Bird Observatory outside the opening hours of NWT.

As we have explained, these measures have been necessary following a fire on the Observatory reserve last month, which could have destroyed both nature reserves. Happily, no serious damage was done.

We have included all current members in this communication, but no method is entirely fool-proof. If you have not received an email or letter from us then please contact NOA at info@noa.org.uk or by phoning 01485 525406 for details on how to continue to have dawn to dusk access to the site. We will need you to confirm your membership number.

We apologise for the need for these measures, but hope that this will serve to protect this special site for everyone to enjoy.
