A much quieter day today but it would’ve been hard to top after yesterdays 2 Hume’s Warbler and Dusky Warbler! The highlight was one Firecrest still around the Obs (a bird ringed yesterday). There was a good number of Reed Bunting around with 21 caught. One Rock Pipit went over. In total we processed 60 birds, 40 new and 20 retraps, so it was a busy-ish day!

A Waxwing went west over Beach Road car park in the morning and a further two birds were reported to have flown from hawthorns along track to Redwell Marsh, but there was no sign of them again in the afternoon.
