The morning was miserable, but the afternoon was sunny and pleasant, especially on the sheltered northern side of the pines.

Best birds today are 2 Snow Bunting on the beach at Holme village and 2 Lapland Bunting at the east end of the beach. There were 2 Greenshank on Broadwater and 1 Mistle Thrush in the scrub in the dunes.

The egg cartons have dried out, and we will set the moth trap again for tomorrow morning.
