It was a cracking day for birds with easterly winds bringing in lots of migrants:

1 Garden Warbler, 20 White Throat, 10 Lesser Whitethroat in the dunes. In total 8 Pied Flycatcher, 4 in the dunes, 2 around the Obs and 1 at Redwell Marsh. In total 4 Redstart, 2 in the dunes (one of them a male) and 2 around the pines. 2 Whinchat, one on East Bank and one in the dunes. 6 Wheatear in the dunes. 2 Willow Warbler around the Obs. 34 Cattle Egret, 12 Snipe, 150 House Martin flying over, 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 2 Black-tailed Godwit on Broadwater.
