It was too breezy for ringing first thing, though by late afternoon the wind had swung direction with more north in the wind, so it was a bit more sheltered around the Obs. This morning an Osprey went over Holme before heading east towards Titchwell where it was picked up there, before it started to head back to Holme, appeared right over the Obs, then went west and was last seen heading high south into the Wash past Hunstanton! In the afternoon a Yellow Wagtail went over the Obs. On the Broadwater (viewable from the NOA car park hide) there was 40 Lapwing and 3 Dunlin.

Moths were busy again with some nice species including Marbled Beauty (this was a very yellow individual, the larvae feed on lichens!), White-line Dart, Cork Moth, Coronet and Yellow-spotted Tortrix.
