Green Sandpiper

It was another cloudy and a bit chilly morning with some drizzle and a strong breeze from the north. As expected, there weren’t many moths today: 1 Bird Cherry Ermine, 2 Archer’s Dart, 2 Brown Tail, 1 Garden Grey, 1 Rosy Minor, 2 Scarce Footman, 1 Bryothropa sp., 2 Pine Hawk Moth, 2 Smokey Wainscot, 1 Dark Arches, 2 Clay, 1 Lesser Yellow Underwing, 1 P. alpinella, 1 Turnip, 1 Least Carpet, 1 Common Rustic agg.

Todays bird highlights: 6 Whimbrel, 1 Spoonbill and 1 Green Sandpiper on Broadwater. 1 Barn Owl in the Eastbank hide.
