Large Skipper

The morning was calm and cloudy, the afternoon breezy with sunny spells.

There weren’t really any bird highlights today. The only noteworthy sighting was 3 Sandwich Tern flying inland over Broadwater and the grazing marshes. However, there were lots of insects about.

Futhermore, I saw 2 Ringlet, 10 Meadow Brown, 8 Painted Lady, 1 Cinnabar, 3 Admiral, 3 Small Heath, 1 Large Skipper, 3 Peacock, 1 White sp. 2 Large White.

Also 1 Black-tailed Skimmer and 2 Ruddy Darter, 1 Common Red Soldier Beetle and 1 Common Lizard.
