It was a good day for insects and rather quiet for birds. The only noteworthy bird was the Tawny Owl which was calling.
The moth trap contained: 1 Eyed Hawkmoth, 3 Hebrew Character, 2 Common Wainscot, 3 Treble Lines, 1 Willow Beauty, 2 Middle-barred Minor, 1 Lunar Yellow Underwing, 1 Cream-bordered Green Pea, 1 Common Swift, 1 Light Brown Apple Moth, 3 Sand Dart, 1 Garden Grass Veneer, 1 Dark Arches, 3 Diamondback, 1 White Point, 1 Pine Carpet, 1 Flame Shoulder, 1 Silky Wainscot, 1 Vine’s Rustic, 1 Large Pale Masoner, 1 Small Mottled Willow, 1 Brown Moss Moth. 1 Silver Y.

Otherwise, we saw 1 Broad-barred White, 1 Broad-bodied Chaser, 6 Large Red Damselfly and 2 Painted Lady.
