Finally, it was a warm albeit windy day. As every Wednesday the moth enthusiasts came to go through our moth trap and although we didn’t catch much: 1 Vine’s Rustic, 2 Turnip, 1 Diamond-back Moth, 1 Common Wainscot and 1Pebble Prominent it was a nice get together with participants bringing some moths they had caught in their gardens. Our Pebble Prominent was definitely able to keep up with the other moths. There were also day flying moths about:  1 Green Longhorn Moth and 1 Cinnabar Moth.

Today’s Highlights were 1 Spoonbill on Broadwater, 1 Common Tern flying over, 1 Tawny Owl calling and 1 Greenshank at Gore Point. Furthermore, there were 2 Kittiwake, 1 Razorbill, 7 Cormorant, 9 Common Scoter, 5 Little Tern, 2 Common Tern, 3 Brent Goose, 2 Ringed Plover seen from the beach.
