Rain cleared during the morning with sunny spells and warm winds in the afternoon.

Two Spoonbills and 2 Great White Egrets were around the NWT pools, with a Spoonbill flying east about midday and a Green Sandpiper was also of note.

A Banded Demoiselle was along the river Hun near Redwell Marsh hide.

In the moth traps a Bordered White, 22 Cinnabars,5 Small Elephant Hawks, a Barred Yellow, 2 Sharp-angled Peacocks, a Bright-line Brown-eye, Barred Straw, 2 Plum Tortrix, a Currant Pug, 2 Heart & Club, a Brown Rustic, 6 Middle-barred Minors, a Hedge Tortrix, Willow Beauty, Small Emerald, Striped Wainscot, 2 Flame, 2 White Ermines, a Fern, 2 Small Squar-spots,a Marbled Minor sp, Lyme Grass, Mottled Rustic, Buff Ermine, 1 White-fronted Straw, Eucosma cana, and one Celypha striana were caught.
