Oak Beauty

A quiet morning ringing with only a few nets opened that were sheltered from the stronger easterly wind. We have a large group of Goldfinch moving about the pines everyday, they especially like sitting in the Poplar tree in the morning. A Long-tailed Duck was reported on the sea off Holme Dunes.

In the moth traps today were 4 Hebrew Character, 1 Shoulder Stripe and 1 Oak Beauty.
