A quiet day with strong south-westerly breeze, on the sea 2 Eider and a single Common Scoter, 3 Fulmars and 3 Great Crested Grebes were counted. A Water Rail and 2 Tawny Owls were heard during the late morning and 900+ Pink-feet were on the grazing marshes with 179 Brents, 280 Wigeon and 460 Teal. A Great White Egret flew across the back of the marsh.
