On the sea today Red-necked, Black-necked and Slavonian Grebe were recorded with 5 Red-throated Divers and a Black-throated Diver also seen. 15 Eider flew west and 4 Goldeneye were noted including one on the Broadwater. Also of interest were a Greenshank, Barn Owl, 27 Bearded Tits, 4 Shorelark, 21 Fieldfares, 3 Rock Pipits, 18 Snow Buntings and 2 Hawfinches flying west over the footpath to Drove Orchards.

Migrant Hawker and Common Darter were still on the wing with a late Small Copper butterfly and a Peacock also seen.
