Woodcock

Highlights today were 14 Whooper Swans west, 3 Pintail on the Broadwater, a Spoonbill, Jack Snipe on the NWT pools and a Woodcock across the main track near the payhut, a Peregrine west, and a movement of thrushes including 200+ Fieldfares, 70+ Blackbirds, and 25 Redwings. A pair of Stonechats were feeding close to the Observatory and a Rock Pipit, 2+ Bramblings, 2 Redpolls and 15+ Siskins were also logged.

At least 3 Common Darters were still on the wing.
