A relatively quiet breezy day on the reserve. There was a good number of Blackbird and Song Thrush around, with a few Redwing over. Five Pintail were along the broadwater. The Jack Snipe was again out in the open from the first NWT hide.
In the moth traps today were 5 Large Yellow Underwing, 2 Beaded Chestnut and 1 Large Wainscot. Common Darter were still active around the observatory.
