A very misty day for the most part, highlights today were a juvenile Scaup on the Broadwater, and offshore 3 Eider, 74 Common Scoter, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 9 Red-throated Divers, a Gannet, 12 Great Crested Grebes, a Red-necked Grebe at Gore Point, and 2 late Sandwich Terns passing, a Jack Snipe seen from the NWT hides (picture by Seamus Griffin), 2 Greenshank, 13 Bearded Tits, 1,100 Starlings, 15 Redwings, 7 Stonechats, 4 Rock Pipits, 2 Bramblings and 5 Siskins.

Only a Large Yellow Underwing and a Rusty Dot Pearl were in the moth traps and Migrant Hawker and Common Darter were still on the wing when the sun appeared in the afternoon.
