A very rough day with heavy rain at times. Highlights were a juvenile Red-necked Grebe offshore, and Black Redstart at the west end of the dunes and a Wheatear on the beach. Three Greenshank were on the Broadwater.
In the moth traps 2 Large Wainscots, a Large Yellow Underwing, Beaded Chestnut and Red-lined Quaker were caught.
