On the sea today 8 Eider, 39 Common Scoter, a Fulmar, 4 Red-throated Divers, 18 Gannets, 16 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Guillemots and 19 Sandwich Terns were counted. A Yellow-legged Gull was found near Gore Point. A Yellow-browed Warbler continued to show in the NWT car park, with at least one Pied Flycatcher, 3 Spotted Flycatchers (one pictured, by Seamus Griffin), 4 Jays, a Willow Warbler, 5 Blackcaps, a Garden Warbler, 2 Whitethroats, a Sedge and 4 Reed Warblers, 6 Stonechats, 2 Grey Wagtails, 2 Bramblings and 2 Siskins also of interest. A Cuckoo shot through the pines mid morning.

In the moth traps 5 Large Yellow Underwings, 2 White Points, 2 Square-spot Rustics, a Small Square Spot, Setaceous Hebrew Character, Chestnut, Snout, Feathered Ranunculus and Lunar Underwing were caught. Wall Brown, Red Admiral and Speckled Wood were also noted.
