More migrants were arriving during the day with 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, one seen in the NWT car park sycamores and another found in the silver birch opposite the Richardson Hide early afternoon. Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, Redstart, Whinchat, Wheatear, and 4 Cattle Egrets were also of note. On the sea 11 Eider, 68 Common Scoter, a Red-throated Diver, 32 Gannets, 6 Great Crested Grebes, 6 Sandwich Terns and a Med Gull were recorded, and 15 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Green Sandpipers and 3 Snipe were of interest, with a Turtle Dove found near the Saltings, Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Bearded Tit, 3 Swallows, 6 Cetti’s Warblers, 5 Chiffchaffs, a Lesser Whitethroat, 6 Song Thrushes, 20 Robins, 6 Stonechats and a Grey Wagtail seen.

In the moth traps a White Point, 2 Large Yellow Underwings, a Feathered Ranunculus, a Deep-brown Dart and a Square-spot Rustic were caught, with 15 Red Admirals, 20 Wall Browns, a Comma, Speckled Wood, Small White and Small Heath seen during the day.
