A Hobby flew over west early afternoon and 4 Mistle Thrushes came in off the sea, with 60+ Pink-feet also coming in during the day. Also of interest were a Water Rail, Avocet, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 4 Snipe, 2 Reed Warblers, 55 Meadow Pipits and a Rock Pipit.
In the moth traps a Pale Mottled Willow, 2 Small Square Spots, a Vine’s Rustic, Square-spot Rustic, 9 Large Yellow Underwings, a Frosted Orange, Delicate, 3 Setaceous Hebrew Characters and a Smoky Wainscot were caught.
Butterflies included Small Copper, Small Heath, Brown Argus and Red Admiral.
