On the sea today a Common Scoter, single Fulmar, 2 Little Terns and 62 Sandwich Terns were present. A Water Rail and 2 Green Sandpipers were seen from the car park hide, and 78 Redshank and 10 Snipe were also noted.
At least 6 Small Red-eyed Damselflies were seen near the pond in the afternoon, and a Wasp Spider was still present.
In the moth traps today 2 Ferns, 6 Sharp-angled Peacocks, 2 Lime-speck Pugs, 11 Scarce Footmen, a Marbled Beauty, 2 Angle-barred Pugs, 2 Garden Pebbles, 2 Swallow Prominents, a Water Veneer, 2 Shuttle-shaped Darts, a Smoky Wainscot, Rosy Rustic, 2 Green Carpets, 8 Dingy Footmen, 6 Flame Shoulders, 2 Yellow Belles, 8 Archer’s Darts, a Tree-lichen Beauty, 2 Straw Dots, a Square-spot Rustic, 7 Common Wainscots, a White Point, 3 Yelkow-tails, a Small Waved Umber, a Common Wave, a Sallow Kitten, a Garden Tiger, a Pebble Hook-tip, Pale Mottled Willow, 4 Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwings, a Lychnis, a Small Quare-spot, a Rosy Minor, 3 Cloaked Minors, 2 Setaceious Hebrew Characters, a Common Carpet, 2 Straw Underwings, a Turnip, a Nutmeg, a Knot Grass, a Large Yellow Underwing, 2 Flounced Rustics, a Single Dotted Wave, and a Drinker moth.
