Six Spoonbills and 2 Great White Egrets were on the Broadwater and a Green Sandpiper flew west.
Another good night in the moth traps produced 9 Drinkers, a Willow Beauty, 6 Yellow Tails, 2 Shaded Broad-bars, a Fern, 14 Garden Tigers, 9 Dingy Footmen, 15 Scarce Footmen, 2 Sharp-angled Peacocks, a Common Carpet, a Brimstone, a Swallow Kitten, 4 Dark Arches, 6 Straw Dots, 6 Single Dotted Waves, a Shore Wainscot, 2 Cloaked Minors, 4 Straw Underwings, 5 Archer’s Darts, 5 Flame Shoulders, 3 Dusky Sallows, a Rosy Minor, a White-line Dart, 2 Webb’s Wainscots, a Shuttle-shaped Dart, Green Carpet, 3 Tree-Lichen Beauties, a Nutmeg, 2 Silky Wainscots, a True Lover’s Knot, a Knot Grass, Rosy Rustic, Coronet, Cream Bordered Green Pea, a Flounced Rustic, 2 Setaceous Hebrew Characters, a Large Yellow Underwing, a Turnip and a Smoky Wainscot.
Butterflies included Brown Argus, Gatekeeper, Meadow Brown, Red Admiral, Peacock, Wall and Common Blue.
A Brown Hawker was seen in the car parks and an Emperor was also seen.
