John Warham Small Red-eyed Damselfly

Eleven Spoonbills, a Great White Egret and a juvenile Green Woodpecker were the bird highlights today.

A quieter night in the moth traps produced 11 Scarce Footmen, a Dusky Sallow, Yellow-tail, a Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, 8 Ruby Tigers, a Dunbar, Small Waved Umber, Lyme Grass, Drinker, Kent Black Arches, Cloaked Minor, 6 Garden Tigers, a Dingy Footman, 2 Rustics and a Large Yellow Underwing.

Two Small Red-eyed Damselflies were seen in the pines above the Observatory during the morning.
