Common Sandpiper Keith Warmington

A Common Sandpiper was around the Broadwater with 10 Spoonbills and 2 Great White Egrets also noted.

In the moth traps 18 Scarce Footmen, 11 Dingy Footmen, 2 Single Dotted Waves, 3 Dusky Sallows, 4 Sharp-angled Peacocks, 20 Garden Tigers, 39 Ruby Tigers, 4 Cloaked Minors, 4 Drinkers, 10 Rustics, 6 Yellow Tails, a Lyme Grass, Fen Wainscot, Chinese Character, 6 Common Footmen, an Oak Eggar, 2 Southern Wainscots, a Kent Black Arches, Shuttle-shaped Dart, 2 Common Carpets, a Riband Wave, a Rosy Footman, Flame Shoulder, Large Yellow Underwing, Least Yellow Underwing, Lesser Yellow Underwing, 2 Least Carpets, 2 Ear sp, 2 Small Fan-footed Waves, a Smoky Wainscot, Early Thorn, and a Common Pug were caught. A Humming-bird Hawk moth was on the wing in the afternoon.

Migrant Hawker, Ruddy and Common Darter, and a Small Red-eyed Damselfly were recorded.
