Again 2 Cattle Egrets, 8 Spoonbills, 2 Great White Egrets and 3 Little Egrets were showing well from the car park hide, and 3 Green Sandpipers and a Greenshank were of interest, with another 2 Whimbrel passing over during the day.
In the moth traps a Small Waved Umber, 4 Garden Tigers, 3 Cloaked Minors, 4 Scarce Footmen, a Shaded Broad-bar, 4 Drinkers, 2 Oak Eggars, 11 Ruby Tigers, 3 Uncertains, 11 Large Yellow Underwings, an Olive moth, 3 Fen Wainscots, a Common Rustic, 2 Lesser Yellow Underwings, 2 Southern Wainscots, 2 Least Carpets, 2 Dark Arches, 2 Striped Wainscots, a Nutmeg, an Archer’s Dart, 2 Common Footmen, an Early Thorn, Smoky Wainscot and 2 Silver Ys were caught.
Butterflies included Common Blue, Peacock, Gatekeper, Red Admiral, Essex Skipper and Brown Argus.
