Seven Spoonbills were around the Broadwater, with 2 Common Terns and 2 Lesser Whitethroats also of interest.

In the moth traps 8 Cinnabars, 2 Bordered Whites, 3 Large Yellow Underwings, 2 Small Blood Veins, a Clouded Border, Double-striped Pug, Brimstone, 3 Dark Arches, Common Swift, Haworth’s Pug, Shore Wainscot, Riband Wave, 2 Uncertain, Smoky Wainscot, Small Magpie, Vine’s Rustic, 2 Mottled Rustics, Sand Dart, Lyme Grass, Barred Yellow, Willow Beauty, Rustic, 2 Flame Shoulder, a Heart & Club and a Privet Hawk were caught.
