Privet Hawk-moth

Spoonbill numbers rose to 9 today.

In the moth traps 10 Cinnabars, 6 Bordered Whites, 2 Mottled Rustics, Clouded Border, Privet Hawk, Marbled Minor sp, Purple Bar, Straw Dot, Barred Yellow, Small Elephant Hawk, Heart & Dart, Shore Wainscot, 4 Large Yellow Underwings, 2 Flame Shoulders, Striped Wainscot and Blood Vein were caught.

Common Darter, Four-spot Chaser, Blue-tailed and Common Blue Damselfly were recorded, with Small Heath, Brimstone, Brown Argus and Common Blue butterflies were also recorded.
