A quiet day on the reserve but pleasant when the sun is out. The highlight of the day was 6 Spoonbill from the car park hide.

In the moth trap today was 1 Brimstone, 7 Cinnabar, 1 Poplar Hawk, 1 Bordered White, 2 White Ermine, 2 Garden Pebble and 1 Vine’s Rustic. Other insects on the wing today included Common Blue, Small Heath, Brown Argus, Speckled Wood and Large Red Damselfly.
