Another beautiful sunny day at the obs. We had 2 Wood Sandpipers, a drake Garganey, 4 Little Ringed Plover and a Greenshank on the floods towards Thornham.

In the moth trap today was 7 Treble Lines, 6 Flame Shoulder, 6 Shuttle Shaped Dart, 1 Green Carpet, 2 Garden Pebble, 4 Willow Beauty, 1 Cinnabar, 1 Northern Drab, 1 Small Waved Umber, 1 Yellow Belle, 1 Light Brocade, 2 Light Brown Apple, 1 Angle Barred Pug, 3 Eudonia angustea, 2 Muslin and 1 Dwarf Pug. Two Silver Y were seen flying during the day. On the wing today were 2 Brown Argus, 2 Small Copper, 2 Green Viened White, 4+ Green Hairstreak, 1 Red Admiral, 2 Peacock, 14 Wall Brown, 3 Small White, 2 Large White, 1 Brimstone, 1 Orange Tip, 1 Holly Blue and 1 Painted Lady.
