Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

A sea fret moved in late morning after beautiful sunshine, and visibility was poor at times. Six Sand Martins flew east and 18 Black-tailed Godwits, 3 Swallows, 6 Chiffchaffs and 4 Blackcaps were recorded, but otherwise very quiet.

In the moth traps 2 Sharp-angled Peacocks, a Pale Tussock, 5 Cinnabars, 2 Muslins, a Waved Umber, 2 Flame Shoulders, a Ruby Tiger, Barred Red and Wormwood Pug were caught.

Butterflies included Small Heath, Brown Argus, Green Hairstreak and Holly Blue. A Four-spot Chaser was seen briefly at the pond.
