At Thornham a Wood Sandpiper and 2 Garganey were still present. At least one Whinchat was in the dunes and a Black Swan was an unusual sight. A female Ring Ouzel was still in the dunes.

In the moth traps 7 Muslins, 2 Green Carpets, a Pine Beauty, 2 Northern Drabs, 2 Shuttle-shaped Darts and a Pebble Prominent were caught.

Butterflies included Holly Blue, Green Hairstreak, Orange Tip and Small Copper. Four Large Red Damselfly and an Azure Damselfly were at the pond.
