An overcast day with light rain at times, there were a good range of migrants and highlights included 2 Garganey at Thornham, a pair of Red-breasted Mergansers in Thornham Channel, a Great White Egret, 6 Cattle Egrets (again at Thornham), on Thornham flashes 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 5 Ruff, 18 Black-tailed Godwits and 6 Snipe were counted and offshore a pair of Common Terns passed by, with 4 Med Gulls noted and a Cuckoo, a passage of 20+ Sand Martins, 30+ Swallows, 10+ House Martins, 2 Cetti’s Warblers, 3 Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, 4 Blackcaps, 6 Lesser Whitethroats, 3 Whitethroats, a reeling Grasshopper Warbler, 6 Sedge and 3 Reed Warblers, 2+ Ring Ouzels on the NWT reserve, 2 Stonechats, 2 Yellow Wagtails and a White Wagtail were found.

In the moth traps a Streamer, 2 Northern Drabs, 6 Muslins, a Shuttle-shaped Dart and a Hebrew Character were caught. A Green-veined White was also on the wing.
