At Thornham a drake Garganey was seen briefly, and 30 Black-tailed Godwits, 4 Ruff and 4 Cattle Egrets were of note with a Spoonbill was also present, flying off in the direction of Titchwell. Seven Whimbrel were near Staithe Lane, and a Cuckoo was calling from the back of Drove Orchards. Around the reserves 4 Lesser Whitethroats and 4 Reed Warblers were singing, a White Wagtail flew over and a Wheatear was reported in the dunes.

In the moth traps just 2 Muslins and a Hebrew Character were caught, and Green Hairstreak, Orange Tip and Speckled Wood were among the butterflies seen.
