Norfolk Ornithologists Association - NOA

Two Ring Ouzels and a Wryneck were seen in the dunes on the NWT reserve, and a pair of Garganey were again on the freshmarsh near Thornham Harbour. Two Ravens were also over the grazing marshes and 5 Sand Martins, 15 Swallows, a House Martin, 6 Chiffchaffs, 6 Willow Warblers, 6 Blackcaps, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, Whitethroat, Grasshopper Warbler, 6 Sedge Warblers and 2 Redpolls were also noted.

In the moth traps 5 Hebrew Characters, 4 Powdered Quakers, 2 Red Chestnuts, a Chestnut, Narrow-winged Grey and Coastal Buff were caught. Butterflies included 7 Green Hairstreaks, 3 Speckled Woods, 4 Orange Tips and a Green-veined White.
