A rough day with rain during the morning, a pair of Garganey were showing from the first NWT hide, and 37 Black-tailed Godwits were recorded, and 3 Med Gulls, a Ring Ouzel in the dunes, a male Stonechat on the east bank, and at least 3 Siskins passing overhead.

In the moth traps 1 female Emperor, 4 Hebrew Characters, 2 Powdered Quakers, a Pine Beauty, Northern Drab, Dotted Chestnut and 2 Clouded Drabs were caught.

A further 3 Emperor moths hatched from the cocoons.
