More evidence of migration today with 12 Red Kites, a Little Ringed Plover, 3 Whimbrel, a Swallow, 25 Chiffchaffs, 4 Willow Warblers, 7 Blackcaps, a Grasshopper Warbler near Thornham Harbour, 4 Sedge Warblers, 10 Wheatears, 2 Yellow Wagtails, 3 White Wagtails, a Brambling, 130+ Siskins, 4 Cattle Egrets and 2 Ravens noted.

In the moth traps 5 Powdered Quakers, a Clouded Drab, 7 Hebrew Characters and 2 Common Quakers were caught, 7 further Emperor Moths hatched from the cocoons, and 2 Brimstones, a Green Hairstreak, 3 Peacocks, 3 Small Whites and 2 Speckled Woods were on the wing.
