A drake Garganey was on the Broadwater and 3 Cattle Egrets were on the marsh, while offshore 3 Eider and 500 Common Scoter were counted. Two adult Little Gulls were flying around near the Car Park Hide during the afternoon. Also of interest were a Snipe, 22 Black-tailed Godwits, 41 Pink-feet, 15+ Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, 2 Blackcaps and 4 Siskins.

In the moth traps a Common Quaker, 3 Red Chestnuts, 3 Hebrew Characters, 2 Pine Beauties, a Powdered Quaker were caught, with a male Emperor on the wing in the afternoon.
