A group of 5 Barnacle Geese of unknown origin were on the grazing marsh, and on the sea 4 Eider, 49 Common Scoter, a Red-breasted Merganser, a single Gannet and 4 Great Crested Grebes were noted. Single Black-tailed Godwit and Ruff were on the grazing marshes, and at Thornham a Blackcap was singing, 5 Stonechats were noted and 6 Bramblings were in a Chaffinch flock at Drove Orchards. Five Siskins flew over calling.

In the moth traps 6 Hebrew Characters, a Clouded Drab, Dotted Chestnut, Shoulder Stripe, Small Quaker and Red Chestnut were caught.
