A Ruddy Shelduck was with 70 Pink-feet on the grazing marshes. A Cattle Egret was on Park Piece in the afternoon and a female Goosander was seen from the NWT hide. Ringing produced 18 new birds including 8 Chiffchaffs, a Goldcrest, 3 Goldfinches, 2 Robins and 2 Long-tailed Tits.

In the moth traps 2 Shoulder Stripes, 3 Dotted Borders, 3 Small Quakers, 12 Hebrew Characters, 2 Oak Beauties, 6 Early Thorns, a March Moth, an Early Grey, 3 Clouded Drab, a Common Quaker, and a Red Chestnut were caught.
