A Redpoll and 6 Siskins flew over calling during the day, and 400 Wigeon and 250 Brent Geese were still on the grazing marshes. In the moth traps an Early Grey, Red Chestnut and 2 Hebrew Characters were caught. A Peacock butterfly was seen near the Observatory.
