Oak Beauty

A Goldeneye flew east and 12 Red-breasted Mergansers were seen offshore, with a Great White Egret on the marshes and a Barn Owl hunting in the morning. Single Stonechat and Rock Pipit were also of interest.

In the moth traps, run for the first night this year, an Oak Beauty, Mottled Grey and 2 Hebrew Characters were caught.
