The drake Long-tailed Duck remained in the tidal channel at Gore Point along with a redhead Goosander and two Greenshank. Sea watching during the day produced maximum counts of 80 Common Scoter, 22 Eider, 12 Great-crested Grebe,  5 Red-throated Diver, 4 Red-breasted Merganser and a single Slavonian Grebe.
