On the sea today 189 Common Scoter and 2 Velvet Scoter flew east, and 6 Kittiwakes passed through heading west. Four Water Rails were heard and 3 Black-tailed Godwits and 2 Snipe were also of interest. A Cetti’s Warbler was calling near the Dell Hide and a male Stonechat was near the Observatory. Two Rock Pipits and a Redpoll were also noted.

A Migrant Hawker dragonfly was still in the pines.
